Day 1: Borobudur Temple – Prambanan
Yogyakarta is the starting point of this tour package. You will visit Borobudur Temple, one of UNESCO’s world heritage sites, which offers magnificent architecture and beautiful scenery. Next, visit Prambanan Temple, the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia rich in history and artistic beauty.
Borobudur Temple is known as one of the wonders of the world with reliefs depicting the life of Buddha. Meanwhile, Prambanan Temple captivates tourists with the legend of Roro Jonggrang and the beauty of Hindu architecture. Both temples provide deep cultural insights and stunning panoramas.
Day 2: Journey to Cemoro Lawang Bromo
On the second day, you will head to Mount Bromo. After a journey of about 7-8 hours, you will arrive in the Bromo area and get ready to enjoy the beauty of the sunrise. Mount Bromo is known for its unique landscape, vast Sea of Sand, and active caldera which are the main tourist attractions.
At Mount Bromo, you can enjoy the sunrise from Penanjakan, the best spot to witness a spectacular panorama. Other activities include driving a 4WD jeep to the crater, horseback riding in the Sea of Sand, or taking pictures with the stunning natural scenery as a backdrop.
Day 3: Bromo Sunrise Tour – Jodipan Colorful Village – Sewu
From Bromo, the journey continues to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, known as the “Niagara of Indonesia”. This journey takes about 5 hours. Upon arrival at Tumpak Sewu, you will be treated to a view of a tiered waterfall that is extraordinarily beautiful and is one of the icons of East Java tourism.
You can go down to the bottom of the valley to enjoy the beauty of the waterfall up close. The journey down is quite challenging, but the beauty of the scenery below will make your efforts pay off. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is the perfect destination for photography and adventure lovers.
Day 4: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – Journey to Licin / Banyuwangi
On the fourth day, you will head to Ijen Crater, a famous destination with the blue fire phenomenon and bluish green sulfur lake. The journey from Tumpak Sewu to Ijen Crater takes about 6 hours. The climb to Ijen Crater begins early in the morning to witness the rare blue fire phenomenon.
Ijen Crater is a place where you can see the unique blue fire phenomenon that only exists in two places in the world. In addition, you can also witness sulfur mining activities that add to the attraction of this tour. Ijen Crater provides an unforgettable experience.
Day 5: Ijen Crater Tour – Transfer to Ketapang Port
The journey ends at Ketapang Port, a transit point to Bali. From Ijen Crater, the journey to Ketapang only takes about 1-2 hours. This port is a gateway for tourists who want to continue their journey to Bali Island to enjoy other charms of Indonesia.
