Day 1: Ketapang/Banyuwangi – Ijen Blue Flame Tour – Sewu

At midnight 12.01 AM, we will pick you up at your hotel in Banyuwangi or Ketapang Harbor and take you to the Mount Ijen climbing post, namely Paltuding. The journey from Banyuwangi to Paltuding takes about 90 minutes. After arriving in the Paltuding area, we will stop for a moment to drink coffee or hot tea, prepare equipment for the climb to Ijen Crater.

During your ascent to Mount Ijen, you will be accompanied by an experienced local guide. The long climb from Paltuding to Kawah Ijen will take around 90 minutes to 2 hours, covering a distance of around 3 kilometers and climbing around 1,200 meters. At Ijen Crater, you have the opportunity to witness the stunning blue fire phenomenon, depending on the weather and Ijen volcanic activity.

At Ijen Crater, you will see sulfur miners, carrying 80 kilograms of sulfur going in and out of the crater area on dangerous paths. After seeing the stunning view of Ijen Crater, we can climb to the top of Mount Ijen and watch the sunrise. After that, we will return to the Paltuding climbing post for breakfast. If you are interested, in the Mount Ijen area there are hot springs that are suitable for relaxing, the location is in Sempol village, you can stop here to relax before continuing your journey to Tumpak Sewu.

Next, we will head to Jember. The trip to Jember from Mount Ijen will take about 3 hours. We will also invite you to stop at a local restaurant for a break or lunch. Finally, we will continue our journey from Jember to Tumpak Sewu with a journey of approximately 3 hours. You will stay at the hotel that we have prepared, to rest waiting for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Exploring Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – Cemoro Lawang

Day 2 of this 3 day tour of East Java we will pick you up in the morning at your hotel. Get ready for an adventure at the truly impressive Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. This waterfall has a height of around 120 meters and the water is very clear. The natural view of the Tumpak Sewu waterfall will really soothe your eyes, surrounded by trees and green plants.

To reach the waterfall spot, we have to walk around 30 minutes. You will encounter many challenges when walking to Tumpak Sewu waterfall. But don’t worry, here you will be accompanied by a local guide at Tumpak Sewu waterfall so you will feel safe. Enjoy the beautiful views along the road to the waterfall.

After having fun at the Tumpak Sewu waterfall, we will return to the car parking area, rest for a while, and continue our journey to Mount Bromo. During the trip, you can stop for a moment to visit tourist destinations along the way, such as the Colorful Jodipan Village. However, if you want to rest immediately, we will go directly to Cemoro Lawang Village in the Bromo area.

Day 3: Mount Bromo Sunrise – Transfer to Surabaya or Yogyakarta

Wake up early, get ready to watch the Bromo sunrise. The 4×4 jeep driver will pick you up at the hotel, take you to Mount Penanjakan, one of the best spots to watch the Bromo sunrise. While waiting for the sun to rise, we will invite you to drink hot coffee or tea and eat local snacks.

Between 5.00 – 5.30, the sun will start to appear, but it also depends on weather conditions. After sunrise, we will visit the Crater of Mount Bromo through the sea of sand. Arriving at the jeep parking area, you have to walk for 30 minutes to Mount Bromo. If you want it to be easier, you can ride a horse at your own expense.

Enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Bromo Crater and its surroundings. Take your time, this is your vacation. Once finished, return to the jeep parking lot and head to the hotel for breakfast. Check out from the hotel, the driver will take you to the hotel, train station or airport in Surabaya. Or if you want to continue your journey to Yogyakarta, we may be able to do that but under certain conditions.
