Bali, Java, and Jakarta Travel Itinerary for Family or Group Holidays – This journey is designed as a comprehensive exploration of Indonesia’s premier destinations, combining natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and authentic local experiences. Over several days, the itinerary covers Bali, the regions of East Java and Yogyakarta, and concludes with a short visit to Jakarta. All activities are arranged flexibly with private vehicle and driver services to ensure your journey remains comfortable and efficient.

Exploring the Culture and Nature of Bali

Day One – Ubud and Surroundings

The itinerary begins with a direct pickup from your accommodation in the Ubud area. A driver will accompany you throughout the day to visit various popular destinations around Ubud. The journey starts with a visit to Batubulan to watch the Barong and Keris dance performance, which is rich in spiritual meaning. After the performance, the trip continues to Bali’s traditional art and handicraft centers in Celuk, Batuan, and Mas, where visitors can observe firsthand the processes of silver jewelry making, painting, and wood carving.

Midway through the journey, the group will stop briefly to enjoy the panoramic rice terraces of Tegallalang before continuing to the Kintamani area. From here, the views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur become the main highlights. The next destinations are Tirta Empul in Tampaksiring, known for its sacred spring water, followed by a visit to Goa Gajah, before returning to the hotel in the Pengosekan area of Ubud.

Day Two – West and South Bali

The second day begins with a visit to the Ubud Monkey Forest. After that, the journey continues to Taman Ayun Temple, one of the royal temples featuring distinctive Balinese architecture. The trip then proceeds to the terraced rice fields of Jatiluwih, renowned for their traditional irrigation system. From there, the group heads to Bedugul to admire the beauty of Lake Beratan and the iconic Ulun Danu Temple. In the afternoon, the activities include a visit to Alas Kedaton, followed by enjoying the sunset atmosphere at Tanah Lot Temple before returning to the hotel.

Day Three – Departure from Bali to Surabaya

An early morning pickup will be arranged from the hotel to Ngurah Rai International Airport for a morning flight to Surabaya. Upon arrival at Surabaya Airport, the group will be picked up and proceed directly to the village of Cemoro Lawang (Bromo). Accommodation will be located in the Cemoro Lawang area, close to the entrance of the Bromo tourist area.

Day Four – Sunrise Experience at Bromo

In the early morning, the journey continues by 4×4 Jeep to Penanjakan to enjoy the sunrise from the highest viewpoint. After that, the trip proceeds to the Sea of Sand and the crater of Mount Bromo. After breakfast, a long journey to Yogyakarta will be undertaken using a van, with an estimated travel time of around seven to eight hours. Upon arrival at your hotel in Yogyakarta, you can rest and prepare for the next day’s tour.

Day Five – Borobudur Temple and Candirejo Village

After breakfast, we will prepare to visit Borobudur Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The visit is conducted on foot, and you will receive a special entrance ticket to access the temple, accompanied by a local tour guide. Entrance tickets have been arranged in advance. The remainder of the day is spent exploring Candirejo Village by traditional horse-drawn carriage, offering a peaceful and authentic village experience. The journey then continues back to Yogyakarta for an overnight stay.

Day Six – Yogyakarta City Tour and Prambanan

A full day in Yogyakarta is filled with visits to the Yogyakarta Palace, Tamansari, home-based batik centers, and silver craftsmen in Kotagede. After lunch, the journey continues to Prambanan Temple. All activities on this day are accompanied by a driver with a flexible schedule. In the evening, there will be a leisurely stroll along Malioboro Street, enjoying the lively nighttime atmosphere of Yogyakarta. Malioboro is the busiest area in central Yogyakarta, frequented by both domestic and international tourists, and serves as a center for traditional and modern shopping.

Day Seven – Transit and Short City Tour in Jakarta

From Yogyakarta, the journey continues to Jakarta by morning flight. Upon arrival at Soekarno Hatta International Airport, the group will be picked up by our team in Jakarta and immediately begin a city tour.
